I'm trying to setup an alert on a 30 min chart so that I get a sound when the new 30 min bar starts again. just one sound at the start. I have read and read about alerts and everything I have tried does not work... What am I missing here. this has too be simple and I'm just missing something...

I don't want to color a bar or color a background, I want to keep the chart as it is. All I am looking for is once a new candlestick starts an brief alert goes off signaling a 1/2 hour as passed.
