CHART SETTINGS and then advanced settings #1.
I am trading illiquid futures and stocks and this is why i need help with my questions please.

I am wanting a chart that SHOWS columns with no data (no trades) so I would check mark "INCLUDE COLUMNS with no DATA" but
when i do this i Get "dash marks" an the chart as if the market traded there even though it did not and this is really blank space.
so the next step is to "Check" DO NOT DRAW Columns with no data. which get rid of the "dash" marks or place holders but this seriously causes HUGE ERRORS in almost any INDICATORS in the main chart. Is there a solution to this problem?

1. If I was only using the "SKIP ZERO MOVING AVERAGE" indicator then yes that would be a solution but is there a way to use the "SKIP ZERO" for all other types of moving averages and indicators? I couldn't find an answer so i think no? anyone?

2. the dash marks or place holders when include columns with no data is checked allows the indicators to work properly but then you hve those pesky dash marks that end up looking like support and resist. Another problem is that these "0" values are used in calculating all of the INDICATORS so you are taking averages that are not based on any real trades just "0" place holders.
I am looking for a couple solutions to this problem. Yes you could open up another chart and not include NO data columns and then overlay the indicators but is there a way to "COLOR" only the dash marks or zero columns.
MY screen back ground is black. it would be great if I could COLOR the dash marks or zero column marks BLACK so they would be invisible on my screen but my indicators would still look sort of normal.

3. is there a way to use skip zeros on almost all indicators ?

I hope this made sense. I am trying to get a chart that shows the empty space with no volume and no trades or fake dash marks but still allows my indicators to look sort of normal. MY perfect world would be a way to have empty space on my charts with spaces blank in the volume where no trades but have my indicators work just like the NO ZERO columns so the data is exact. any work arounds or ideas would be highly appreciated. thank you in advance
