Hello SC Support,

I have upgraded for version 1067 today and besides some other problems already being addressed on other threads (which you are on the process of fixing them) I'm also having this problem with CL-Nymex Continuous.

The problem is that the continuous chart begins in January 2011 and then shows a wrong contract by the beginning of 2013 - after that when it reaches November 2013 the chart goes back in time and restarts again in 2011 with the wrong contracts. It's very strange and I have no idea what is causing this.

I have deleted all data and re-downloaded it again but the problem remains. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong - it was working perfectly with version 1062.

I also trade Euro Futures and everything seems ok with it.

I am attaching screenshots of the chart in two parts and also the chart settings in case you find useful to check them.

Please see what you can do about it when you have some time.

Thank you.

besides some other problems already being addressed on other threads

What problems are these?

For the problem with the Continuous Futures Contract chart for CL do the following:

1. Update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Prerelease.

2. Update the symbol settings following the instructions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettings

3. Use a Date-based rollover and not a Volume rollover for CL. For some reason the volume rollover does not work properly. We will have to look into that later.

Thank you for the reply.

Regarding the other problems I mentioned in my first post they are already resolved with the latest version:

1067- error message Symbol expired. Click to perform rollover

SC 1067

In relation to the my problem with the Continuous Futures Contract chart for CL, I followed your instructions and it is ok now.

Please let us know when we will be able to use the Volume-based rollover for CL again as it is the more effective way to have the Continuous chart.

Thank you very much.
