We followed steps to setup TPO periods daytime and evening sessions using two colors, one for daytime periods 1,3,5 etc and one for evening 2,4,6, etc., and is working as expected for some TPO charts.

But on other TPO charts on same chart book, the day and evening sessions colors appear reversed, and the most recent daytime profile periods can be made to reflect letter/Block 6 color setting while prior profiles will remain unaffected by changing letter/block 6.

The only other attributes assigned are subgraphs e.g. value area but all settings for all charts seem to be configured the same. Not sure how to troubleshoot this.

We need to get that particular chart following these instructions here:

And tell us the time zone it uses:

The documentation for setting up the separate coloring for Day and Evening sessions is not correct, we will update it. What is happening is that when setting up in that way, you are coloring every other TPO Profile the specified color. The problem is that when you have an Evening Session, but not Day Session, then you are skipping a period, but the coloring just keeps alternating.

This situation occurs for the ES, as there is a Friday Evening Session, but no Saturday Day Session, and then the next session is the Sunday Evening.

The way to do the coloring that you want is to set the Input for TPO Letter/Block Colors to Separate Colors for Day and Evening Sessions, then you set the Day and Evening Session colors under the Subgraph for TPO Letter/Block Color. The Primary color is the Day Session and the Secondary Color is the Evening Session.

Refer to the following for the Input:
Time Price Opportunity (TPO) Profile Charts: TPO Letter/Block Colors

And refer to the following for changing the colors on a Subgraph:
Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Color
