Let say I have a bar that closes above the prior bar high. How would I print a number or text above that bar? I would like the indicator to go back through the chart and highlight all bar breakouts. Could be inside bars. Could be outside bars. Whatever. I would just like to get that condition noted above that particular bar. Thanks |

1) Add SCH study Color Bar Based on Alert Condition 2) To alert window write formula: =C>H[-1] 3) In the study settings >> Subgraphs tabs Change Drawstyle from ColorBar to xxx (for example Point on High) |

I find it too simple. If you mean something else, describe more and there is no problem to finish the ACSIL study for it.

Thank you so much Ackin. Works perfectly! To draw a '2' I had to set the drawstyle to 'Text' and then enter the 2 in the 'Text to draw' field. |

Hi grantx, I've worked on it a little bit and made some improvements. The values are in ticks from the previous point. I am currently testing yet another study which is a visualization of this in a summary for the period. You can download it as a finished ACSIL study Study: "Break Prior High Low" contact link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=StudyStore&SCDLLName=zyp_download_free Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-06-24 22:51:11
