Question about opening an account with Sierra Charts

Hello I have an account with AMP Futures but, I wanted to know does the account have to be live and funded or can I have a demo account with Amp in order to pay for package 5 with Sierra charts just to see how to use it as my 15 day demo account has run out and I really didn't have enough time to figure out the full functions with Sierra charts.
