Hi Support team, I tried to Crtl + c and Ctrl + V the sierrachart folder in my drive, then renamed it, created a shortcut link of the Sierrachart 64 EXE file in that newly created folder on the desktop, when I double click the exe file, even though the path is showing the right folder, it automatically creates all these folders, alertsounds, backup, data, symbol settings etc. While my friend is able to copy and paste multiple sierrachart folders and create multiple launcher exe freely without such problem. Please advise. This is not a linux issue as my friend also uses linux to run sierrachart. Kind Regards, Jackson |

Unless the SierraChart_64.exe is located on your desktop, Sierra Chart would not be creating folders there. It simply could not be doing that. It would only create folders under the location where the executable itself is located. So you need to find out why that is happening on your system. Maybe the shortcut used to launch Sierra Chart, is referencing the desktop location. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
