Error/Bug in Software?

Hi,

There seem to be some kind of bug in Sierra Chart (I have latest release installed).

When I try to clear simulation data, it is not cleared from the Global Profit Management status.
So it permanently shows -$18000, I can not get rid of this.
So I can not use Global Profit Management in SIM status

Also when I run back testing in SIM status, no orders seemed to be filled any more.
The algorithms that filled fine a few days ago, no longer work (I have checked everything on the spreadsheet trading)

I get this constant "StartDateTimeForLoadingOrderFills" message on the log:

Hi,

Trade Activity Log/Chart Stats is blank, there are no entries

It's nothing to do with the Trailing Stop Study.
It's not the study or the algorithm.
As both the study and the algorithm worked before, and I have also tried with a very basic study saying "Buy at this price", and this does not work either

The error message "StartDateTimeForLoadingOrderFills" is new, and the bug is new.
It just simply no longer process trading orders when back-testing, instead it gives this error message.

I've spent over 40 hours of my time on this, just trying to get the back testing to simply do a trade.
I have done everything to get a trade activate in back-testing.

All I can say for sure, is that when a trade should be filled on back-testing I get a message with this in it, instead:
"StartDateTimeForLoadingOrderFills:"

I never used to have this in the message log when it worked OK
Now I always have this message.

The problem must relate to that message.

Trade Activity Log/Chart Stats is blank, there are no entries
In this case there would not be any Daily Net Profit/Loss displayed or being used in the Global Profit/Loss Management. And if you do see a Profit/Loss value we need to see a screenshot of this so we can better understand what you are seeing.

The error message "StartDateTimeForLoadingOrderFills" is new

The problem must relate to that message.
No it is not related to this. It simply could not be. This is a new message we have added.

Reinstalling is never the right solution. This is simply reckless. You need to follow through a proper troubleshooting procedure and we explain this here:

There's two issues the Global Profit Management and the trades not being filed in back-testing

As you say, troubleshooting is needed.
and as I say, I have done 40 hours of troubleshooting, without a solution.

The rest of your link explains how you can't or have no interest in helping in these issues.

So as I have no more time to commit to solving this issue, I took the 'reckless' action.
