Hello, Is there any limitation / recommendation on how to use persistent variables and dynamic memory management from the custom study when it is used in more than 1 instance at the same time? The reason for my question is that somehow when I use my study only in 1 instance then everything is fine. If I open my study in more than 1 instance at the same time, it doesn't get FullRecalculation signal. A bit more information about my dual-instance setup: - 1st instance is connected to "SC Data" and enables DTC server - 2nd instance uses 1st instance as source of historical data via DTC protocol - My custom DLL is in Data directory on each instance - there is a chartbook with single chart of ESZ19 and single copy of my study in it on 1st instance - complete copy of this chartbook is in the Data directory of the 2nd instance - If I open chartbook on 1st instance and it is the only active instance, then everything is fine - If I open chartbook on 1st instance when 2nd instance is active and have similar book opened, then I have to do Chart>>Recalculate to activate my study. Otherwise I see chart updating, but my study is not doing anything. Thank you |
