Hello,
When using the Daily OHLC study on a 60 minute chart, the buy and sell signals I get can disappear. It may appear at first, then I can refresh the chart and it is gone. Also I see when I use this study in automated back tests, that there will be more signals generated than when the chart is stationary. Why is this. Why can the signals disappear. Thanks for any advice.

What Subgraphs of the Daily OHLC study are you referencing? We recommend to draw the High Low lines incrementally:
Daily OHLC: Displaying the High and Low Lines Incrementally for Day

In general the problem would be related to the study changing its values itself at prior bars.

Would this affect how it runs in automated trading? I am trying to access subgraphs SG4 AND SG1. I'm basically saying if:
IDX.SG4 > IDX.SG1
...
When the chart is not in back test mode, the signals are only few, at every turning point based on the formula. But, when I go to back test the formula, it generates waaaay more signals than expected. I'm sure it's based on my setting maybe, don't know. If you set this up and run it, you will see what I mean. Also, in regular trading mode. The signals generate as expected, EXCEPT, sometimes I can go to refresh the chart and the signal will disappear. How can I at least fix that. Thanks again

Here is an image of the chart not in back test mode. The signals show well but the signals are not always concrete. Next image will be when back test running. The image here is the beginning of the chart. I was hoping the signals and how you see them, I wanted the automated strategy to trade the same way.

This image is the beginning of chart like last chart but in back test mode.

You can see how it misses turning points. Is there a way to fix this, or is this strategy just a figment of my imagination? Thanks

I'm trying to get my charts to look like this without going off course too much. I'm playing with the Daily OHLC settings. I see that certain things will affect how it operates. Like, the drawing style and the session times. I'm lost just playing around with settings...
