DPL Field Inaccurate

My Daily Profit/loss Field is showing an inaccurate amount. 186.25 when it should be 50.

The first trade I took today stopped out for a small loss but the DPL said I had gained money.

The current DPL shows a profit more than 3 x larger than what I have made today.

In some instance it shows that I have an open position in the stats window.

I have verified this on Rithmic trader. Position is closed and verified as 50.00.

The DPL amount was also incorrect yesterday.

This is for the MESZ9-CME contract.

Please advise

Dear Support Staff,
It is the next day and it still does not show the correct DPL in fact it is showing the NPL. That box that I corrected was not enabled so I was hopeful that we hit a home run but it was strike two. Would you folks have another option that might correct it?

Thanks
Chuck

I'm having exactly the same issue. I had one trade, Rithmic shows it was 1 point profit but the trading window shows -24.50 pts loss. I recently started a tryout and initially everything was fine but at some point DPL broke and today is the 3rd day that it shows some weird numbers. Clearly something is wrong how DPL is calculated. And btw, my DPL was 0 at the beginning of the day and I had no open positions. Also tried to play with "Include Open P/L in Chart/Trade DOM P/L Display (NPL)" - nothing happened, as expected as I didn't have any open positions.

Now I could be wrong and I don't want to confuse the support by pointing to the wrong direction but I believe it happened on the night when I had an open position with bracket orders at the end of the day, I closed SC for the night and my position was stopped out overnight. If I remember correctly starting from that point DPL was completely wrong and it never corrected. I trade MES on that instance.

I have another instance that I use to trade MNQ and DPL is calculated correctly there.

Regarding post #3 and #4 go through the simplified steps here:
Help With Daily Profit/Loss Value: Simplified Steps to Solve Incorrect Daily Profit/Loss

As long as you do not have any missing order fills, you will not have a problem.

And this is why we recommend users use the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service which maintains complete and long-term order fill history. One of you is using CQG and the other Rithmic.

I deleted trading activity from the date when the order was executed on Rithmic server when SC was not running and that resolved the issue. After I reconnected to the data feed trading activity didn't restore from Rithmic, which is not a bid deal for me as long as I can track my DPL properly. Next time I will try to identify and delete the activity that causes the issue instead of deleting all in bulk.

Regardless, thank you for your help, support.

In retro perspective I now know that there was a TT service issue. I'll leave the post here just in case it helps:
I am using SC Order Routing Service (TT) and I'm having the same issue today. DPL started the day off (at 18) and then one trade was not captured by DPL at all and then another trade, which was supposed to increase DPL by 0.5pt made it jump by 9 points. The trade activity log shows under order action source 'data historical fill...', some read 'new order originated from external service'. Not sure what I should do next, I'll try to erase the 'historical fill' lines. Looking at the order fills (for the historical fill that took place yesterday), it does not even make any sense, it was trading at prices which did not exist for that time. This took place in the past, after a holiday as well if I remember correctly. I don't remember what I did to correct it (possibly I just waited for next trading day).

I deleted the historical fills and it seems to be working fine now

A day later I got the following email from AMP:
"Due to the ongoing TT Outage - we are currently manually updating TT Platform to match your Statement Open Positions and then Closing all OPEN positions and Cancelling all working orders - so your account is FLAT (No Open Positions on both CME and TT)

After completing this above step, we are disabling trading (at least 1 trading day) allowing all the trades to process and settle on your account and TT.

This has been completed on your Account and Trading has been disabled.

We will provide full report from TT once received.
"
So perhaps it is the 'external service' referred to above (I cannot be sure).
