I've written a perl script to import EOD data from a collection of downloaded CSV data file(s) (the script also correctly formats the data into SC type). Should all chart data be manually imported to the 'Data' Folder ONLY..? as I'm having issues when using sub directories with the 'Data' folder at root .. i.e SierraChart -> Data -> EOD Not sure it helps but the log says I'm trying to open a chart file in the 'Data' directory when I'm trying to open it in the SierraChart/Data/EOD directory =============== Currently no data in file to display. Will start historical data download and real-time updates. File: D:\PROGRAMS\SierraChart\Data\4US1.dly | 2013-12-24 16:14:34 ============= It just would've been nice to separate this downloaded CSV data from SC's Historical Data into another sub dir. One of the reasons I use the Downloaded CSV data is for the NMX (i.e NMX0530) Sector data from the LSE (not avail on SC). |

Yes, it needs to be this way. Sierra Chart does provide LSE data through this service: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.html Although not certain if that service has exact symbol you are looking for. There is a comprehensive listing of LSE stocks/assets but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any LSE Sector Indices (NMX0530 .... Mining, Banks, Support Services etc... there are about 40 in all). It's probably not that popular and I can grab the data and update weekly from another source in any case.
