I've got a whole pile of studies on a chart from various experiments I've been conducting, and now I'd like to remove a bunch that I don't think are needed anymore. Unfortunately if I remove them and it turns out they *were* needed somewhere, I can't undo the removal, and re-adding them will put them in with a different ID therefore breaking their original connection. Hiding only removes the visual but doesn't actually disable the study. Is there a way to deactivate a study without removing it? |

Thanks but hiding doesn't help because the studies are still processed by other studies that use them. I want to completely disable them so I can see if any other study needs the deactivated studies, and if not then I can safely remove them.

It is not possible. you could hide them.. see "Hide" checkbox below the settings button
Hide won't help.My recommendation: Make collections of studies (.StdyCollct extension) to avoid losing your settings and then remove them. Study Collections: Introduction |

Thanks Ackin, that was what I had concluded as well, that and saving the chartbook, removing whatever, then if there are problems reloading. Shame you can't just deactivate.
