Hello There, I'm looking into purchasing service package 5 from Sierra chart. At my office, all incoming ports except standard ports are blocked. This is why, I can't run some trading softwares and market data providers in office network. I've up and running Live Funded Thinkorswim platform from TD Ameritrade with full depth of order book from both NASDAQ and BATS, but can't run TWS by Interactive Brokers. I can run bookmap order flow software but can't access realtime exchange data for bookmap from DXFeed market data provider making it useless for me. Since, both TWS and DXFeed use non-standard ports to communicate while Thinkorswim and bookmap use standard ports. Could you please shed some light on what ports following services will use : 1) Sierra Chart software service package 5 2) Full CME Group Market data Feed 3) Denali Exchange Market data Feed 4) Sierra Chart Exchange data Fees 5) US Equities from NASDAQ,NYSE,AMEX and BATS data Feed I'm a day trader with non-professional status as per definitions, looking to reap the benefits of various footprint charts available in Sierra Charts package 5 for Futures and Stocks, by trading only in the US Market. Can I import the full depth market data from Thinkorswim for both futures and stocks into Sierra Chart full time or do I need a separate data subscriptions for both futures and stocks to visualize various footprint charts in Sierra Charts package 5? I'll only use Sierra chart for charting purposes initially, later I might will switch to trade straight from Sierra chart by integrating it with Thinkorswim. I'll have to learn Sierra Chart and check how all this will play out. Also, can I access footprint charts for past on any intra-day time frame like 5min and 30min in Sierra Charts even if for just a year back, in order to understand them fully before deploying it in real-time and to supplement my current trading strategy. Regards, Raj |

As far as the ports that are required this is documented here: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues: 1.6. Internet Ports and IP Addresses used by Sierra Chart Data Services Are you able to have ports unblocked on your network? If not, you will have a problem. But you can always tunnel everything through a SOCKS proxy. Sierra Chart does support that. Regarding Think or Swim Sierra Chart only supports that service to verify you have a funded trading account. There is no market data support. Also, can I access footprint charts for past on any intra-day time frame like 5min and 30min in Sierra Charts even if for just a year back, in order to understand them fully before deploying it in real-time and to supplement my current trading strategy.
