I am looking for (hoping) that there is an establish code base for building an automated trading system using ascil. Not just the example code. But rather a more complete code base that would include the GUI elements such as scale in / out , take profits, etc. If anyone know of this thanks. If anyone knows of an auto trader that is for sale. Please let me know. FYI - I have been using Sierra Charts for years and have many customized ES indicators that work. But I cannot be at my screen 24*7. hence the desire for an auto trader. I am frustrated that I can find auto traders for Ninja. Listen up Sierra. Please! |

There is a tradingsystem.cpp file provided in the SierraChart/ACS_Source folder that has many examples of autotrading systems with different features.

We already have everything you should be needing. The documentation along with references to examples is here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ACSILTrading.html And Attached Orders and Scale in and Scale out can be controlled through the Trade Window for the chart even for an automated trading system. All of the settings are there. Here is the documentation: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks. I've been to these sections. They are code segments, not a full demo auto trader. I trade full time for my living and it would take a month of weekends to build an auto trader from scratch and test it. Hence my request to have a demo auto trader using a GUI with documentation as a post from Sierra Charts. Also my request for Sierra to provide the full source for the Order Panel so I can build a custom version. These items would be a huge jump start. FYI - there a several auto traders available for purchase that use Ninja. Seems to be none for Sierra. I really do NOT want to switch to Ninja, but I also do not want to spend the next 6 months coding the base auto trader. My requests would be very useful to many Sierra customers.
