Denali feed freezing when markets have a burst of activity

I switched from CQG to Denali because the dom and charts would freeze with a burst of activity. It was better but still would choke in a busy market. So I upgraded my system to the latest generation 6 core Ryzen CPU with 32 GB ram and SC runs on a Nvme SSD M.2. It is blazing fast. However, when the markets move on news my charts/ dom will freeze for a couple seconds. I have an update interval of 100ms set. My processor, memory usage is below 15 %, GPU is below 5%. Any suggestions for stopping these freezes? Thanks |

Do a clean reinstall of the operating system and see if the problem persists? No problems here on Windows Server 2016. And I'm always recording my screen at 25fps too. |

We need to understand this better. Is Sierra Chart freezing and inoperable for two seconds? Or just there is an apparent stopping of the data feed? If the data feed is stopping for two seconds and the user interface of Sierra Chart is active and usable, the data feed issue would be outside of our server.

That makes sense. It happens so fast I can't really say. I'll have to remember to make the distinction the next time it occurs or perhaps record it. Thanks for narrowing it down for me, I'll get back to you with more info. |

I've just switch to denali today from cqg. I can confirm that the freezing issue, it lasts 1-2 seconds like it mentioned and in that time i believe sierra chart is active and usable.

We see you are using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, but you do not have the Denali Data feed active on your Sierra Chart account. Which means you must be using 10 minute delayed data. AMP did not complete the set up. Ask them to do that. And we will clarify the setup process with them so this is avoided in the future. Yes we are sure unless you are using a different username to login to Sierra Chart as compared to the username that you have logged into the support board with. are you sure it’s not skipping on the DOM due to lack of liquidity? ES has been skipping ticks cause liquidity has evaporated recently .
