Using spreadsheet trading, is there a way to access the daily profit loss data? (I want to set a hard stop on the spreadsheet trading if a day goes haywire) Cheers |

On the Spreadsheet System for Trading study, the Closed Daily P/L is in cell J45. Combine that with the Open P/L in cell J10, and you have a realtime daily P/L.

For some reason my spreadsheet does not show these columns. Please see http://pro-traders.net/charts/ts2938.gif I am using Interactivebrokers and I can see this information in the Trade Activity Log. Any idea what could be my problem ? |

There are 3 different spreadsheet studies. Only the Spreadsheet System for Trading study has those outputs. Caution: if you use this spreadsheet study for anything except autotrading, do the following to assure no erroneous entries: -Put =TRUE in cell J28 -Do not put any formulas in columns K,L,M,N -Set the Draw Styles of K,L,M,N to Ignore Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-01-08 18:03:53

Yes I am not trading just calculating position sizes and other stuff so I disabled it. I was implementing things using pure spreadsheet study not "for trading" so that was the problem. Thank you very much for your help ! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-01-08 17:59:02
