Is the Average Daily Range a moving average study based upon the Daily Range study Subgraph? If you want to put an alert formula on the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study Daily Range Subgraph itself, you could do something like this: = SG31 > 10 Here are the instructions: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html#EnterAlertOnStudy Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes it is! Thank's for the instructions, In fact, i would like to use this moving average study base upon the daily range study to make an alert. For example, when the daily range reach the value of this moving average, the alert will be activated. Do you see what i mean ? Thank's! |

If my moving average is ID19.SG1, and my daily range is SG31 ; can i use this formulas : = SG31 >= ID19.SG1 ? Have i to set it (the alert) in the number bars calculated values, or in the moving average ? Thank's |

This formula seems correct. For the second question, we are not clear of all of the details. So we are not sure what study to put it on. If you proceed each SG# with an ID number, it can go on any of the studies. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
