3 monitors, extended desktop mode. The main display selected in Windows 10 settings was the laptop which ran them all. It has a higher resolution than the other two displays. Today, setting "Make this my main display" in Windows Settings to one of the other monitors causes Sierra Chart to render in a much larger resolution. Charts are half off the screen, fonts close to twice the size. No other app on the machine reacted in this way. |

ps, I have numerous detached charts. In Windows it appears that if an app momentarily spans a low res display and a higher res display while dragging that app window, then it renders the portion of that window in a much higher resolution on the lower res display. Suspect that changing main displays is triggering a Windows problem related to this, and SC is getting caught in the cross fire. Need to find a way to stop SC from rendering itself on the lower res displays as though the high res display is still the main display. Is there a way to make SC forget the old main display settings, and respect the new setting? Is it caused by detached charts and floating toolbars? |

To adjust font sizes refer to: Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance Is there a way to make SC forget the old main display settings, and respect the new setting? Nothing is changing within Sierra Chart. But the font sizes as provided by the operating system are in what is called logical units not as point sizes. So you do have to adjust fonts. Also there is a an option in the in the System performance settings in Windows to not show the contents of a window while resizing it or dragging it. Disable that.
