What is the best way to setup a multi broker account in Sierra Chart? I am currently using Interactive Brokers and Sierra Chart's data feed. I would like to open a second brokerage account with AMPFutures. Can I use the same Sierra Chart instance and toggle between 2 brokerage accounts? or do I need to run a separate instance of Sierra Chart with a different Data/Trade Service configuration?

Can you confirm if this is the best option is to run a 2nd instance of Sierra Chart and configure the Data/Trade Service for CQG. I will need to recreate all existing chartbooks to map to the new CQG symbols.

Yes that is the right way to do it. Refer to help topic 15 to copy files to another instance: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation To convert symbols, use this new command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service You do not have to re-create any Chartbooks. Are you saying that I can use the same chartbooks from instance #1 (using Sierra Chart as the data provider) and CQG running on instance #2? I just need to run in instance #2, Edit -> Translate Symbols to Current Service?

Hi I am using IB and would like to add TOS. If I understand correctly I have to create another instance for TOS. But I cannot select TOS at the top column when I opt for another instance. What did I do wrong?

In these cases you definitely cannot use File >> New Instance. You have to use the procedure here: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time And you have to install two additional instances. And Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service is what you need to use after copying a Chartbook to another instance and opening it.
