If I send a trade order (for example, market if touched), then my computer is sleeping or off, will the trade still go through once target is hit? Does Sierra charts have to be actively running for alogorithmic trading to work?

As a general rule you really do need to have Sierra Chart continuously running when you are doing automated trading. There are various things which can be client-side managed.
