I was using the replay of the market tool all week long and everything was perfectly fine. Today (Saturday) suddenly it stopped working.

Things I've tried:

> New Sierra Chart fresh installation (different folder)
> Downgrading to previous versions
> Checked all configs many many times again

[SEE THE VIDEO ATTACHED]

Could you please help me with this or explain this situation?

Thanks support.

It is quite clear what the problem is. You cannot initiate a replay from a Trading DOM that has no visible data in it. You must use a standard chart with bars:
Replaying Charts: Basic Chart Replay Instructions

We have now made that clear in the documentation.

Actually disregard the answer at post #3. That was an incorrect conclusion just based upon what we were initially seeing but not paying attention to all of the details.

The reason the charts are paused is because you cleared the trading data from the starting Date-Time of the replay and the only way to start a replay safely that would involve trading is to pause the charts initially. But we will look into the problem that you are showing.

Some points:

> Answer #3 doesn't make sense to me, since I was able to replay many times with just a DOM window in my chartbook.

> About answer #4, that automatic pausing behavior after clicking "Play" started to happen suddenly with no reason. Every replay I previously made all week long never had that behavior.

> It is important to reasure that the same setup I show in the attached video of the post #1 was PERFECTLY working. It was just a matter of loading the chartbook, clicking over one of the DOM windows, CTRL-R, choose the date and click "Play".

EDIT:
Tried to start the replay from the standard bar chart as you mentioned, didn't work.

Please do not debate us on this point . We don't have that time to discuss this. The functionality is designed to pause the replay under the described condition. It will always do a pause. There is no other possibility. This is new as of a recent version.

And no one else better jump in here saying anything about replay because it is not relevant to this thread. We are going to delete your posts. We are locking this thread. We will look into the matter described here. Do not post anything further.

Regarding your post #1 and the first video, we could not reproduce this but we want you to test again on version 1991. We did correct a small issue involving the processing step in seconds but that is not really related. We also fully documented the clear trade data options here:
Replaying Charts: Clear Trade Data Options

The one you have selected causes the replay to be paused upon starting.

So let us know if you still have that issue, and if so we will get your Chartbook and test. But we also want you to increase the replay speed to 100 times or more. And see if then the replay begins.

We apologize for being abrupt in our follow-up answer, it is just that we are extremely busy, we do not need any additional information, and we do not want anyone else jumping into this thread with misleading information. So we are just managing our time here. But we will take care of any genuine problems.

Regarding the second video, it definitely is not correct to start a replay at a Date-Time which is earlier than the days loaded in that particular Trading DOM chart. The behavior is not going to be correct and be like you saw. It is just not supported what you are doing. You are not following the documented instructions.

This is documented at step 3 here:
Replaying Charts: Basic Chart Replay Instructions

So as you can see you did not follow the instructions. Also we do not respond to private messages.
