hi, according to the amp cost calculator, sierra chart package 3 is free for the amp/ttnet datafeed. is this true or just a mistake in the calculator?

I have package 3 through AMP and it charges per transaction instead of a monthly fee.
If you dont make any trades, then it is free .
I pay .50 cents per transaction extra for the platform.

I am very happy with that combo offered through AMP .

thanks for the info, AC84847.
There is no information about additional 50 cents fee per transaction when you check the amp calculator. according to the calculator, total commission per side for the dow mini future would be 1,66. so you´re saying it´s actually 2,16?

When you set up under the platform setup in the client login section, you will see the option to select transaction based, or monthly fee based version. You will see the 50 cent amount there if you select the transaction version.
It does not show correctly in the calculator.

Yes, it will add 50 cents to the dow transaction.

I just checked and could not find the 50 cent fee under the platform setup either !

sorry, you should contact amp, maybe they have dropped the fee or something.

I do pay the 50 cent fee for the sierra platform. Maybe it was the deal then.
Sorry about the mis information

Hi, I just talked to a guy called Max in the amp chat. He said there is no additional cost, only 1,66 per side.

are there any restrictions when trading through the free sierrachart package 3 that ampfutures offers with the amp/ttnet feed? can i subscribe to the sierrachart realtime futures data service with this package, or is this some kind of specially designed package for amp, that would not allow me to do so?

the only restriction I see is there is no TPO indicator and the Draw volume profile is disabled.
You still have the volume profile indicator available, it is the drawing tool, which enables you to draw a volume profile anywhere on the chart, that is disabled.

I am not sure about the SC data feed. It is a special package 3 .

You cannot have SC data feed with AMP provided Sierra.

You are required to have a direct account.

Are you sure? Can someone from Sierrachart confirm this? The free Sierrachart package would be useless, if I can only use it with the amp feed. Amp feed for order execution is ok, but what about charting? I would definitely need the option to have Iqfeed or the Sierra realtime futures feed for charting.

I have complete historical and intraday charting with the AMP TT feed.
Are you talking about historical data ?

I am not sure why you need another data feed

Yes, you do need a direct account to be able to use the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical data feed:

The TT AMP data feed is good for charting with the exception of bid volume and ask volume.

I use constant tick charts for intraday trading the eminis. i´ve tried other feeds before, including zenfire, but they were useless for charting, i only got accurate charts with iqfeed and the new sierra feed.

So then, my charts are not accurate with TT amp ?

Is this the case ?
Can sierra support tell me what is filling in my charts then ?

If you are using chart bars based upon a specified number of Number of Trades (Tick bars), then TT is good. No need for another data feed.

I´ll check that, but i will still prefer to have 2 feeds. In the past i traded through zenfire and had Iqfeed for charts. There have been many situations where either one of them would lag in extreme market conditions, so if you´re trading intraday better to have a second feed for comparison.

You will not have a problem with time-based chart bars when using TT.

If you want to subscribe to the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Futures Data Feed, you need to use your own Sierra Chart account that you pay for. Here is more information about this:
