HI guys,
now that the connection to websocket is stable I am getting this windows error and the data stops, backfills and live data returns.

I have serious trouble believing that this is a problem within my system given the persistence of problems with the TransAct service. AND the external TransACT DOM continues to display live data.

Help please

Elena

This is what we are seeing:

SC Data - All Services | There has been no activity on the network socket for 40 seconds. Will reconnect. | 2019-09-12 08:52:50.847
SC Data - All Services | Disconnected from the server. | 2019-09-12 08:52:50.848
DTC Client socket (3) | Write in progress. Shutdown being delayed. | 2019-09-12 08:52:50.848
SC Data - All Services | Data feed disconnected. Will reconnect in 2 seconds. | 2019-09-12 08:52:50.848

This is not a problem with Transact and also the Transact software is using the UDP protocol. Not TCP. So this would indicate there is a problem with the communication from your computer back to our server. It would seem as though the low-level TCP acknowledgments are not making it back.

while I don't know about network communciations, it does seem odd that while the TransAct issue was occuring I had NO TCP issues - and now I do? it is not a logical outcome.
Is there ANYTHING within the Sierra system (other than my system or ISP) which may be causing this issue? ANYTHING at all???????

We apologize for the delay. We are going to consider this as a possible issue on the Sierra Chart side with our Denali exchange data feed. We are working on setting up additional hardware infrastructure.

Are you noticing any problem at this time?

What we want you to do is to open a chart for the following symbol:
TICK-NYSE

This is a market statistics symbol and here is the documentation for that:
Sierra Chart Market Statistics

And then when you notice disconnections provide the Message Log and let us know when that is done.

Ok a quick look at the last three logs you sent show either no lost connections or only lost connection to the Transact server. But at a time which is not unusual which is around 5:30 PM US Eastern time.

No changes from our side. The market is just not so active today as compared to previously. And we do not know the source of the problem in your case.
