Hello SC:

I had made some changes to three charts by adding the study price overlay study to them. I had not saved the changes yet.
I went to the replay function and then scrolled back to the spot on a chart in that chartbook where I wanted to begin the replay function, and, chose to have all charts in that chartbook replay and the replay window froze and Windows returned (not responding) in the upper of the chart. I had to use task manager to exit Sierra Charts at that time. I lost the changes I had made to the three charts.

When I started SC back up again, I added the study price overlay and this time saved all charts. Then I started up the replay function and it proceeded as it should. The cause seemed to be adding a new study and then not saving the chartbook before trying to run the replay function.

I did have the replay function set to calculate at every tick. However, I was running the charts and the replay function on a dual core machine with 12 GB of ram so that should be able to handle the load, I think.

Hope this helps to keep someone else from having a crash when using the Replay function, or, maybe if you can reproduce the freeze on your side then you can write some change to that function.

Sierra Charts are still the best there is, in my opinion.
