On Number Bars, the Bid/Ask Minimum Volume Compare Threshold (ln:95) only checks the extremes of bars and nothing else when Background Coloring (ln:18) is Based on Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage. Cheers.

The way we interpret what you are stating is that the Bid/Ask Minimum Volume Compare Threshold only affects the very top and/or the very bottom price levels of a numbers bar when you are using a coloring of Based on Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage. But this is definitely not the case. We double checked and took a look at the code, and everything is working properly. For us, when the Bid/Ask Minimum Volume Compare Threshold is set to a value greater than both the Bid and Ask volumes, then that bar is colored the Default Background Color (In: 117).

The only thing we can think of that you might be seeing is that it does require both the Bid and the Ask to be below the threshold level for it to not perform the coloring at the price level. If only one of the Bid/Ask is below the Minimum Level, then the background coloring is going to be set based on the Dominant Side Percentage.

Perhaps I am misinterpreting how it is meant to work. Please refer images below. When the threshold is set to 117 shouldn't the comparison not take place on the 48x116 imbalance?

I believe it is a similar issue to these:
Number Bars bid ask min volume
Number bar problem- Bid/Ask Minimum Volume Compare Threshold not working on ASK column

We have fixed this up, along with a few other places where the Ask/Bid Minimum Threshold was not being used properly for Split profile types.

This will be in the next Pre-Release - v 1982. When available, you can upgrade using the instructions here:
