I'm currently transitioning from Jigsaw daytradr DOM to Sierra and there are a couple of important features that I am really missing on the ChartDOM (and TradeDOM) These are the ability to: -Clear ALL Recent Bid/Ask Volume ...from all DOMs associated with the Chartbook -Clear ALL Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume ...from all DOMs associated with the Chartbook -Center ALL ...for all DOMs associated with the Chartbook --> Please could you implement this in the right-click DOM menus and also allow these to be managed via keyboard shortcuts? <-- This is pretty important when using multiple DOMs. I'm currently jumping around 4 screens trying to clear/center DOMs manually and it is not efficient. Thanks in advance |

This is already fully supported. Refer to: Trade Menu: Clear Recent Bid/Ask Volume (Trade menu) Trade Menu: Clear Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume (Trade menu) Trade Menu: Re-Center Trade DOM Scales (Trade menu) You can set up keyboard shortcuts for these as well: Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks for your responses. I just tested this with 4 ChartDOMs open: 1) Trade > Recenter Trade DOM Scales. RESULT: This works for ALL ChartDOMs. Thanks! 2) Trade > Clear Recent Bid/Ask Volume on ChartDOM. RESULT: This does NOT work for ALL ChartDOMs. This only clears for the one ChartDOM that is in focus 3) Trade > Clear Current Bid/Ask Volume on ChartDOM. RESULT: This does NOT work for ALL ChartDOMs. This only clears for the one ChartDOM that is in focus Could you please look into points 2 and 3 as the commands are not being applied across all the ChartDOMs? Thanks again. |

What does the documentation say about this? This is certainly not the case unless a chart is replaying.

I read the documentation before testing. I have 4 ChartDOMs and they are not in replay mode. The ChartDOMs are all detached from the main chart window. The Recenter command centers all the DOMs (as expected), but the two Clear commands only clear one of the ChartDOMs, despite the documentation stating that the command "applies to all charts that are not replaying" Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-08-21 18:38:50

When a chart is not replaying, clearing the recent or current traded volume data is global. It is technically impossible otherwise. The only explanation is, you are doing this when the symbol is not active and you do not see the other charts redrawing because they will not automatically redraw on that condition. There would have to be a market update to force them to redraw and for the market data column to actually be visibly cleared. All the symbols were active and receiving updated market data. I've been trying the commands several times during market hours. It just isn't working for me. I've even tried with new ChartDOM templates in a new Chartbook and the columns are still not clearing on all DOMs. I will keep trying. If anyone else is experiencing the same, hopefully they will comment. |

This really is technically impossible. You would need to show this to us. Can you set your telephone number and full name here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ManageAccountInfo Let us know when that is done and we will call. I have the same behavior 1) Trade > Recenter Trade DOM Scales. RESULT: This recenter all ChartDOMs 2) Trade > Clear Recent Bid/Ask Volume on ChartDOM. RESULT: This does NOT work for ALL ChartDOMs. This only clears for the one ChartDOM that is selected/in focus 3) Trade > Clear Current Bid/Ask Volume on ChartDOM. RESULT: This does NOT work for ALL ChartDOMs. This only clears for the one ChartDOM that is selected/in focus It would be great to clear all open chartDoms in one shortcut/button. Thanks, |

Will this be fixed? I have exactly same behaviour. In my case it's same. I have 3 DOM's detached in one chartbook ZN, ZB, ZF and yes they recenter at once, but when it comes to "CLEAR" recent bid/ask it works only on DOM in focus. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-08-08 20:38:45

I second this. It's annoying that you have to click around and clear the recent bid/ask for every separate dom
