Any intention of fixing the limit chase function for Bitmex? About 80% of the time the order cancels itself and has to be manually re-entered. I love the feature when it works, but unfortunately it is too unreliable to use consistently. Thanks.

No, we have no ability to do that unless we were to make the order client-side managed.

It is BitMex canceling the order.

@user8222 are you using ParticipateDoNotInitiate?

After the order is submitted, and the last trade price rises in the case of a Buy order, then the order is adjusted up by the amount the last trade price increased by, no more than the specified Set >> Max Chase for Chase Limit Orders amount.

If the last trade was at bid and you join the bid with a chase, if the offer trades the limit chase price updates to the offer price, which would cross the spread. With ParticipateDoNotInitiate your order would be cancelled.

It appears to work for you "sometimes" because if the last trade is at the ask when you join the bid, further ticks on the ask do not trigger an adjustment of the order - in fact it will behave as expected, staying pegged to the bid until filled.
