Dear support, I scrolled through all options in "Customize Keyboard Shortcuts" window to be able to find a way to assign a keyboard shortcut for "Go to Chart" option and "Clear log" option in Alert Manager but I could not figure it out. Could you please guide me? Secondly Is there a way or plan to be able to filter alert log messages according to type? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-08-05 10:55:01

You will find Keyboard shortcut options available for "Next Chart", "Previous Chart", and "Goto Chart Number" under the Window section of the Customize Keyboard Shortcuts window. Refer to the documentation here for customizing keyboard shortcuts: Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu) There is no built-in keyboard shortcut option for clearing the Alert Log. In terms of filtering the Log Messages based on type, we will see about adding this functionality, but we cannot commit to any particular timeframe. These are generic options to navigate between charts. When Alert Manager Window is seen, I select a line via mouse and then there is an option named as Goto Chart. Letter G is underlined. When I press the G key from the keyboard, it does not take me to the chart. This is my problem. I did not assign any function to G key in via Customize Keyboard Shortcuts menu. You need to press Alt-G to invoke that particular menu command when the Alert Manager window is active. If it does not work we cannot help with this.
