Can you please let me know how to receive an email once a price level has been crossed? Presumably I can put a horizontal line at the appropriate level on the chart and then set an alert for that line. Is that right? With thanks for any help you can give

You can do this through the Symbol Alert functionality. We need to know what specific alerts you are referring to and what is generating them.

In this case you just simply set that setting to "No Alert Sound" if you do not want to use it. This is all.

You will need to use that particular alert setting for the email alert message. Here is the documentation for configuring email alerts associated with specific Alert Numbers: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GeneralSettings.html#EmailNotifications And then probably will want to use a sub instance for simulated trading: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance And configure that sub instance to not use any order related alerts.
