Hi, I want to download bar data, but only given my specific, multiple date ranges. Is there a way? Maybe I could specify them from a spreadsheet or a txt file if there is such functionality? Thanks. |

There are two possible ways to do this. First, if you have the data available in a text file and for the specific dates that you want in that text file, then you can import that data into a chart. Refer to the following documentation for how to do this: Exporting and Importing Intraday Data Files The second method, although a bit burdensome up front, may be the longer term method to use. That would be to simply add in all the dates that you do not want to display under Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Set Dates to Exclude. Refer to the following for how to use this: Chart Settings: Set Dates To Exclude (Button) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu) And the answer to your next question is No - we do not have a way to populate those dates via an import or other method. You just have to type them in one by one. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
