Hello. I originally asked the following: "...Hello. I have Sierra Data Service Package 5 and the package that includes CME, CBOT, NYMEX and, COMEX. I need to have my data feed come from Sierra, but I need to be able to execute trades from your platform, with the trades handled by Interactive Brokers, my broker. Before I left Ninja Trader for Sierra, I was told this was possible. I thought I followed the directions, but my data feed is definitely coming from Interactive Brokers, not Sierra, and their data is not good enough for the charts I need. I would appreciate any help you could give me to solve this problem. Thank you so much..." I received this reply: "...Follow the instructions here for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#IntegrationWithTradingServices (Integration with Trading Services)..." I followed the instructions precisely. Here's where I am. If I put Interactive Broker in the Data Services window. I get an IB data feed. I have to use IB symbols, and the data will not support tick & Renko charts. If I put "All Sierra data services in the window, and get the Sierra data, but then IB is gone - cannot execute trades from Sierra platform. Please let me know what else I need to do. Biggest thanks! |

and the data will not support tick & Renko charts. We need to understand exactly what this means.First we want you to increase both of these settings to 186 instead of 10: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#MaxHistoricalIntradayDaysToDownload And then re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.
