Crosshair and other drawing tools not moving smoothly

On some of my charts (not all) I have a problem in that drawing tools such as crosshair, horizontal line, etc. hop between values (such as round numbers, gridlines etc) instead of going up and down smoothly. How can I fix this? With thanks for any help you can give.
