I have multiple charts labeled with this Study. Is there anyway to prevent it from disappearing when I select Analysis>Clean Chart?

No, there is not a way to avoid that.

Yes, you should be able to do this by creating your own "My Clean Chart" study collection, which includes the Symbol Display Study. This is because when you are selecting "Analysis > Clean Chart", you are really choosing a built-in study collection with no studies called "Clean Chart". So you could open a clean chart, add only the Symbol Display Study, then save it as a study collection called "My Clean Chart", or whatever name you prefer. Then when you go to Analysis, you should see listed under the menu as "My Clean Chart", or whatever name you chose. The problem with what is described in post #3 though is that the Input settings for that study are also saved. So that Study Collection would be specific only to a particular symbol.

Guess I'm lucky then :) Please try this one and see if it changes symbols as needed. Seems to work for me but YMMV. |

Ok actually that does make sense that it would work because that study does use the symbol of the chart. However, that study does have an input, to use alternate text and that's what we were thinking of.
