When using a tickbased market depth chart (in my example 100 ticks) for whatever reason there are some gaps in the data. Using a 1-second chart the gaps are gone. Also when downgrading to the current veresion 1941 everything is back to normal. I attached screenshot from 1948 and 1941. |

We have been working on some updates to the Market Depth Historical Graph to not show data when the system has not been connected to the data feed. What you are seeing is an effect from those changes, as the 100 tick bars that are not showing data did not have any updates to them, since the trades happened in a period of time that is smaller than the Chart Update Interval. In previous releases, those bars were getting automatically filled in for you. With these changes, you can override the new behavior by setting the option for Extend Last Known Depth to Yes. I noticed that when setting Extend Last Know Depth to Yes the gaps are filled. But that would mean that there are certain situations where I see some "old" extended depth that in reality is not there anymore. Is this something you plan to go forward with or any change to fix this as it was in previous versions? |
