Hello,

I tryed to test my study on my VPS, and I get this error:
"Error loading c:\SierraChart\Data\Proba.dll. Windows error code 126: The specified module could not be found."

My Data Files Folder is : c:\SierraChart\Data\
Proba.dll copied to that dir.
SC versions are same (1056) and have also been compiled. I use Visual Studio C++ 2010.
No antivirus on my VPS.

What is the problem?!

thanks!

Right-click on the file on the server and select Properties. You may see a button, which has to be clicked on to allow or unlock the file.

No, we did not mean that, but it is important to check those settings as well. If you do not see a button somewhere among all of the Properties to Allow/Unblock/Unlock the file, then it is not being blocked.

Really we do not know what the problem is. This is something that you would have to rely on Microsoft support for.

Hmm... Interesting. I installed Visual C++ Express 2010, and after Custom Studys works fine.

It's good you have resolved it. We were planning to run a test. So we assume this issue is resolved at this time?

Yes, looks like running good.
I think some plugin/addon missing form SC install, if I want to use VC++ compiled CustomStudy DLL.
A bit problematic, if should be install VC++ Express 2010 to all VPS to good running SC.

There is nothing missing from the Sierra Chart installation. You should not have trouble with this. We build DLLs all the time with Visual C++ 2010 professional and do not have a problem using them.

What exactly the problem is, we do not know. Some kind of Windows bug or something like that. Might also have to do with whether you are using a Windows administrator level account or not.
