Sir: thankyou for responding. but I am not getting it. Maybe I did not explain my request properly: Using a normal slow stochastic indicator, I would like the %K line to change to a different color when it goes into the 70 zone( green) and into the 30 zone (red). but renmain the neutral color (black) when it is not in those zones. Sorry for not understanding your message; billm |

This can be done with the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition Be sure to refer to this particular section on that page as well: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition: Coloring Subgraphs of Other Studies (Coloring Subgraphs of Other Studies) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. This is very confusing I am unable to figure it out, there are no places to indicate the 70/30 coloring, When I go thru the process nothing changes nothing seems to activate. this should be such a simple thing to do,, is there any place on the site that has this indicator set to overbot, oversold that I can go to and see how it is done????? I sorry to continue to bother you, maybe this is just not possible...thankyou

It is possible. Actually you need 2 instances of the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study to do two different colors. We will put together an example tomorrow. We have put together a Study Collection that has the Stochastic - Slow study along with 2 Color Bar Based on Alert Condition studies, which colors the Slow %K line green when it is above 70 and red when it is below 30. The direct link to the Study Collection is here: https://www.sierrachart.com/AdditionalFiles/StochasticSlow-ColorAboveBelow.StdyCollct Follow the instructions here for how to use the Study Collection: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study or a Study Collection: How to Use a Study Collection For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
