Transact wants us to complete a compliance test for the new price API. We asked them if we can do it tomorrow, Friday.

Transact has said you can start using the websocket connection (Transact WS), starting Monday.

However, make sure you are running version 1947 or higher.

Based on what they said it is going to be Monday and not Sunday and it could be sometime into Monday. And whether there is resolution of all issues is unknown. Trading will still not be supported.

Just for your info now with version 1953 the connection is ok for trading need to wait and test on Monday.
So you are actually able to connect to Transact with 1953? If so, this means they are now allowing the connection.

I can see where this is going- TransAct is coming off the "supported services" list.

Too bad SieraaSierra doesn't offer direct routing for TransAct, I still have hundreds of dollars in my Sierra direct account.

Yes the system is connected and it works but only in sim mode, all live trading are not working the order are sent out but they do not go to the markets they remains on hold but they are not routed to market.

This is not technically possible.

I still have hundreds of dollars in my Sierra direct account.

So what is the final update on this issue? Will the direct sierra account support trading from charts for Transact via WS or NOT? I believe SC Support and Transact must make this clear for their customers if this will EVER work or NOT in order for people to make an informed decision on whether to stay with these 2 companies or leave. This game of finger pointing between Sierra and Transact has gone long enough, it's impacting business of many people.
