My broker AMP tells me that their risk management triggered and liquidated my position on Tuesday afternoon. However, the platform shows that it triggered the flattening, based on my daily net loss management rule (-1,000). They are charging me a liquidation fee which I'm disputing with them. What proof from the platform can I provide them to prove my case? Thanks, |

The information regarding the Sierra Chart Daily Loss Management will be in the Trade Service Log. Refer to the documentation here for this: Trading Information Windows: Trade Service Log Any trades that took place will be in the Trade Activity Log. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have the Trade activity log, but is there any way to prove that the trade was triggered by Sierra Chart's Daily loss mgmt. or that it was triggered by broker's risk mgmt.? How can I get the Trade Service Log from yesterday? (if it provides the proof I need for my dispute). |

Yes the Order Action Source field in the TAL indicates the origin of the order. You only need the TAL.

The Order Action source field is the same for all trades, it says "Rithmic Trading order update (filled)". I went back and looked at a trade from two weeks ago where AMP's risk mgmt. triggered a liquidation, and the order action source was no different than all other trades that day. So, is there anything else that can provide proof? |

Make sure the top of the Trade Activity Log that you select "All Activity". And then you need to determine whether that order originated from the external trading service or not.
