Spreadsheet study default save setting is .scss. However, spreadsheets can be saved as text files by using 'Save As' and changing the setting to txt. My question is can the default be changed from scss to txt? I looked and read and I'm hoping I just missed it. Thank You.

The SCSS and TXT formats are not the same. Sierra uses the SCSS file type the same way Excel uses the XLSX file type, they are both binary file formats that are unique to the application. The Save as TXT File menu item creates an Exported version in human-readable text that can be imported into other documents. Creating a different default file format from SCSS, therefore, does not make sense. |
