Is it possible to have volume profiles (and other drawings) made specific to the chart instrument? For example, if I have a chart with an associated watch list, for symbols A, and B and I draw a profile on A, can that profile be made specific to symbol A, so I do not see it on the chart when symbol B is selected? |

That worked for most drawings. However, the volume profile remains on the chart. The actual profile is hidden but the VAL, VAH, and POC lines remain visible. ----- I previously created a number of 'Tool Configs' based on studies and use buttons to select the desired Volume Profile Tool (VPT). When I now select the VPT it uses the last tool config and this results in a study being added to the chart. Maybe that is the problem, as I don't know how to revert back to the default VPT settings? |

Yes this will be the case. A Volume by Price study is going to be added to the chart for each instance of the use of the Draw Volume Profile tool.Make sure you are using this functionality: Chart Drawing Tools: Creating Control Bar Buttons which Select Drawing Tool and Drawing Tool Configuration in One Step Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
