[Programming Help] - Auto Trade - Closing Trades After Hours

I am not sure how to solve this problem. I have an auto trade spreadsheet that works fine and initiates/closes trades during the regular market session. (E-mini futures trades) I am trying to set an automated stop-loss via the "J10" parameter in the spreadsheet study. This will work fine during regular market hours, but does not initiate in the evening session. If I set the chart to use the evening session then it also takes trades during those hours and I am not interested in initiating trades in the evening session. I only want to close them if they go against any position I may be carrying through the days close. I have tried using the evening session and setting volume and # trade filters but I find the back test data to be very different than when I just use the days session. Is there a way to take trades only in the regular session but still close trades in the evening session if the parameters dictate? Thanks. |
