So I don't need the features of a new instance(seems to save differently and take more resources), However, I have multiple monitors and want a 2nd, 3rd, window with multiple charts in their respective window.

Its basically a detached window with multiple charts in that window. Instead of just a detached single chart.

Unsure if you are familiar with ThinkOrSwim but they have detached window and in their detached window, you can add more charts etc its not just a single chart
Here's what it looks like, #3 http://www.thestocksreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/monitor-2-1024x640.jpg

I know you can detach a chart on sierra but im looking for a detached window that can hold many charts.

As just detaching a single chart is a pain to move around and size/adjust the window if dealing with 6+ charts on one screen

Does this make sense? if so, how is it done?

2nd Question:
When using Sierra Chart overlay/comparison feature. It seems to require each overlay to have its own chart open in the background.

How do I go about having two comparison charts with different starting points in this case?

Like I want to see how 2 futures compared starting 1 year ago and another chart starting at only 1 month ago.

But the issue I am facing is the starting point can't be changed since it is using the starting points of the charts in the background required for overlay

1. This is not supported. You do need to use separate instances.

2. You can also use the Add Additional Symbol study:
Add Additional Symbol

But the issue I am facing is the starting point can't be changed since it is using the starting points of the charts in the background required for overlay
This is not going to be the case if you are using this study:
