Was it really necessary to change all the initials and symbols for the tools in the recent "upgrade", in the control bar? What genius came up with that idea?

This has to do with higher resolution monitors. So the default is going to be scalable text rather than images which do not scale. Anyway we put the images back. Update with Help >> Download Prerelease to get the images back. Refer to:
Software Download: Fast Update

And yes we are geniuses.

FYI - Line Tool button still showing as text, not image.
Had to manually reset to use image 'Button_35.bmp'
Thanks

To be clear, the basis of the change, is that with high resolution monitors the images are too small and while eventually we will get to resizing the images, this is not yet done and we wanted to put in a temporary solution of using scalable text.

But we realize, that still the old images should remain by default because not everyone is going to want scalable text.

FYI - Line Tool button still showing as text, not image.
We apologize for this. We are fixing this now.
