How do I stop the left tool anchor point from auto snapping to the mouse curser? It never used to do this and it's Driving Me Nuts. It's particulary bad when moving a parallel Ray line. It will snap to the left anchor and move around with the mouse . And no, I don't want to move the mouse further along where it doesn't snap. |

We cannot say unless we know precisely what you are doing. Select the Ray, but do not initiate the movement of it, and provide an image: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#PostingAnImage Tell us where it is you are starting the adjustment of the Ray. Hi, I have included an image before moving, after clicking to the left of the second anchor point to move the line & after clicking to the right of the second anchore point to move the line. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1559006600499.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=155900674269.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1559006814277.png Before, the line would remain parallel regardless of where I clicked, unless I clicked on either anchore point where it would rotate around the other anchore point. Thanks, Arne |

We apologize for the delay. We needed to get a chance to do some testing. So you just want to move the line? If so, left click in the middle of the visible part of the line. But not on one of the anchor points. Refer to: Chart Drawing Tools: Move Drawing - Left-Click Selection Method Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I DID NOT CLICK ON EITHER OF THE ANCHOR POINTS, but rather to the left and right of the right anchor point. The images clearly shows this (pointer does not appear in the images). Am I supposed to be able to move a Ray line by clicking anywhere between the anchor points while it still remains parallel? It is working as it should after the second dot (the dots are visible after selecting the ray). Click to the left of the second dot (compare the right of the dot) and you'll quickly see what the problem is!!! Something has changed! And this is a bug! |

Am I supposed to be able to move a Ray line by clicking anywhere between No not with where the anchor points are. You need to left click toward the middle of the line to move it.the anchor points while it still remains parallel? This may have changed but it is not considered a bug. This is how it works. No, I should not have to click towards the middle of the line. If you could only see how stupid that sounds!!! This is not the way it worked before. YOU introduced a bug and now you won't admit it. Whatever way it turned out, that's what you intended it to be right. If you could only see it from where I'm sitting, you would get on your bike and fix it pronto. Maybe you need glasses to see clearly or better still a new brain. Either way, i know I'm right and you numbsculls are completely wrong. |

You're the bug morokul. You gotta toughen up if you want to use Sierracharts. If you can't handle a simple ray then please get a refund and go cry on the board of a different trading platform. I don't want the Sierra Engineers wasting their valuable time on stupid issues like this when they could be focused on more important things. Shoo fly. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-06-04 08:02:06
