New SC data feed

I am using the new feed with IB. Trading NQ, ES, and EU. For both overnite periods when I am not trading, I leave both platforms running but I lock the IB platform so that it can't be traded. On both occasions, when I start in the morning, the feed is in disconnected mode. I also had one brief outage yesterday which I have not experienced recently with IQ. The daytime outage reconnected on its own but the overnite did not. Why might I be losing my connection? thanks

If you lose the connection to Trader Workstation, then you will be disconnected from the Sierra Chart Real-time Futures Data Service.

Is Sierra Chart losing connection to Trader Workstation at the time? You can check this in Window >> Show/Hide Message Log.

In the log it appears that it first lost the connection, then when it tried to connect, it was rejected by IB because I had TWS locked. SC then began retrying every 3 minutes with the same result. So it appears that if I lock TWS and lose the connection to it, TWS will not allow reconnection until I unlock TWS. Does that sound correct?
And when I reconnect in this situation, will I need to refresh the data or will SC fill in the missing period on reconnect? Thanks

Yes.

You will not need to re-download the data. The missing data will be very reliably downloaded. This you will have no trouble with.
