candle stick patterns finder on cumulative delta bars

Is it possible to put the candle stick patterns finder on a cumulative delta volume candle stick chart? I can't seem to get this to work. If it isn't possible is that something you could do, specifically the bullish/bearish engulfing patterns? thanks- |

We tested this and it works by basing the Pattern Finder study on the Cumulative Delta Bars - Volume study using the Based On setting for the Pattern Finder study. Refer to the following documentation for the Based On setting: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Based On - Basing a Study on Another Study By chance, the data we were looking at did not have any matches to the Bullish/Bearish Engulfing patterns on the Cumulative Delta Bars - Volume. But it definitely was going through the data and performing the tests. So just be aware that it is possible that those particular patterns may not have any results. If you try some of the other patterns you will see that it works properly as long as it is setup right.
