Hi
is it possible to plot a moving average (or other indicator) calculated on the POC value of each bar (I mean the POC I see highlighted in numbers bars)?
Thanks

Yes, but in order to access the POC value you would need to add the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study. The POC price value is SG42 (Point of Control Value). For the Moving Average study, you would need to set the Based On Input to the Numbers Bars Calculated Values and then set the Input Data to Point of Control Value.

The documentation for the Numbers Bars Calculated Values studies can be found here:
Numbers Bars: Displaying Numeric Information Below Numbers Bars

Here is the documentation for the Based On setting:

Hi is this method applicable for plotting the POC and Value area high/low of the Volume by price study or is there a simpler way to show the ongoing movement over time of those lines?
One of my trade setups is a point of control flip that indicates a likely direction change, so I need to see if the poc of a symbol moves and from where to where without having to watch it like a hawk.

Yes, this will work with the POC, Value Area High and Value Area Low from a Volume by Price study. On the Volume by Price Study, you will want to set the Input for "Calculate Developing POC and Value Area" to "Yes", so you can see how it is changing from bar to bar. Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Calculate Developing POC and Value Area
