Dear Support, I am using charts with the Chart DOM enabled and I have a quote board with a watchlist linked to these charts. Is it possible to set the chart scale to automatically, always auto-scale to the chart DOM when I change the symbol of the chart by clicking on the quote board? If this is not possible, can you please consider adding it as a new scale option: 'Scale Range: Auto Scale the Chart DOM' Thank you. |

Thank you. I am experimenting with the settings and based on your recommendation I have been able to come up with a solution that works well most of the time if the scale values are similar of different symbols (like Bund, Bobl, CL, etc all trades in increments of 0.01). But when I switch to symbols that trade based on different increments (like FESX with increment of 1 or currencies with 0.0001) it compresses or widens the chart scale, so manual adjustment is needed. |

Sorry, we were incorrect in our original statement. It just happened that the data we tried it with worked out with the Constant Range and we did not realize that it was not updating the range. We have therefore removed our previous post due to the incorrect information in it. The only option available at this time is to use Automatic. There isn't another option available to accomplish exactly what you want at this time. We will add the desire to change the way the scaling works for Constant Range or User Defined to better handle switching between symbols, but we cannot say when we will be able to get to this work. Hello–were there ever any implementations in this regard? I've currently setup a keyboard shortcut to make this easier on myself (auto center the Chart DOM), but wondering if there is a setting I'm missing to accomplish this automatically on symbol change as OP was also trying to accomplish.
