Every Sunday I'm doing data compression and shrink the files to only include 15 days of tick data and compress the older data to 1 minute. Since v1919 the manual start button is not showing any response and the CPU is in idle - no compression done. @Sierra Support: Could you please doublecheck if this is a problem with the current release? Thanks! |

We did not observe any problem with this. When you click on the Manual Start button there is a status box above that displays the status. Does it not show anything? There was a change, where there is a delay introduced, a quarter second delay while processing through a certain amount of data within the files in order to not cause the drive I/O to be too excessive. But this would not cause the described issue. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Actually we do see what the problem is. There is an implementation problem with the delay. We will fix this.
